Free to think.

Personal AI should start on your side: private, local, and useful before it ever asks for more power.

FREE TO THINK. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT.

The first promise of personal AI should be simple: you can think without turning every thought into a hosted event.

That does not require rejecting powerful models or refusing the network. It requires changing the default. Start with the user. Start with the Computer. Start with local context, user approval, and a memory boundary that respects the difference between useful context and sensitive secrets.

Free to think is not just a slogan. It is a product constraint. The assistant should help before it asks for more power. It should be useful without demanding a billing meter for ordinary work. It should explain when a task needs the Supercomputer and why.

This is what makes TARX feel different from a normal chat tab. The product starts where the work lives and tries to keep the user in control of memory, files, tools, and compute.

A good personal AI system should make the user feel more capable, not more captured.
